Touch Id And Passcode Feature Disables Fix soon 😢
i wanted to give 5 star rating but l am giving 1 star. I have been using drive for last 5 years and iphone for last years installed drive on day one when I purchased my iPhone. And since then I have been using it. The most liked feature of drive was touch ID that made it secure. But couple of months ago Google removed this feature and it is a big dissappointed for me and others as well. Now I am going to delete app from my iPhone as I don't see any use of having it on iphone without passcode or touch ID Anyone who knows my iPhone passcode can easily access my all docs and photos on drive.

Awesome app, I would like to suggest a feature
I have been using google drive for quite a while on my iPad and Mac as my primary storage solution. While doing so, I think google should implement more tools on drive to edit PDFs natively on the app, along with the Apple Pencil.
As there have been numerous instances when I wanted to add something to a pdf through my pencil but I had to import it into another app just to mark something and that change wasn’t updated on my drive.
I would love to see this feature implemented on google drive and thanks for making the best cloud storage solution out there.
Images and videos viewing
A very good idea to backup all files keep al files safe . But viewing editing sharing and many more things have to b better for this to be worth using and loving.
When viewing the files of the folder in case of images and videos the display image should load faster to organise the files and viewing them should b improved more easy to swipe left right right pinch out feature can b added slide down feature for better expierence of viewing .
Images can b best viewed with a sorting style of a timeline (folders and images)
Better option for sharing Nd editing can b added
Major concern is with the viewing feature ( for images and videos)

Whether you want to save a video from your own Google Drive, or a video that your friend share with you via a Drive link, here’s how it’s done.
Step 1: Install the Google Drive app on your device.
If you haven’t installed this app yet, then download it now from the App Store. After it’s installed, open it from the home screen and sign in your Google account.
Step 2: Download the video from Google Drive.
If you want to download a video from your Google Drive, simply navigate and locate the video you wish to download.
For videos that are shared by another Google Drive user, you can find it in Menu → Shared with me. Or you can open the shared link in Safari, then select the “Open in Drive” option.

Once you’ve found the video, tap on the “three vertical dots” icon beside it. The app will bring up a list of options to do with the file. Select “Send a copy”.
The share sheet will appear with an option to save the video. Now tap “Save Video” to download the file to your Camera Roll.
If this is the first time you save a video or a photo from Google Drive to your Photos app, the app will ask for your permission to access and save content to the Photos app. Just tap “Allow” to continue, and the app will start downloading and exporting the file.
Note: The “Save Video” option only works if the video file is supported by iOS (.mp4, .mov, .m4v). For other video formats, they won’t be saved in the Photos app. Instead, you can download and copy the video file to a video player app like VLC Player by using the “Open in” option.
For example, I have a .mkv video on my Drive. When I select “Send a copy” → “Save Video”, the app downloads the file but cannot export the data to the Photos app.
As I have installed VLC Player on my iPhone, I will export the video file to this app instead. From the file menu, select “Open in”. Wait for the file to be downloaded. Then when the Share sheet appears, select “Copy to VLC”. Your video will be copied to the VLC app and you can now play it.
